The ARNVG (Articulating Ruggedized Night Vision Goggle) is a highly durable binocular night vision system built from billet aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional impact resistance that exceeds military drop-test standards. It features push-button controls for power and the IR illuminator, with a guarded design to prevent accidental activation. Internal indicators alert the user to IR use and low battery status. Power can come from an onboard CR123 battery or an external pack via a LEMO connector. The articulating pods allow precise interpupillary adjustment, can fold flat against the helmet for compact storage, and automatically shut off when rotated up to protect the tubes and reduce light signature.
