The Steiner DBAL-A3 is a compact dual-beam aiming laser that combines a focusable IR illuminator, IR aiming laser, and visible green laser in one unit. The visible and IR lasers are slaved together, allowing easy daytime zeroing—adjust one, and both stay aligned. It features a .7 mW eye-safe IR laser effective out to around 300 yards, along with an adjustable (focusable) IR illuminator that can be tailored for different distances and lighting conditions, typically performing best within 75–100 yards. The DBAL-A3 also includes high and low power settings for both lasers, plus dual pressure pad ports—one for standard activation and another for visible override—allowing quick switching between IR and visible modes. It comes with both single- and dual-lead pressure pads for flexible setup with lasers and weapon lights.
